"Golden Sayings from Prophet Mohammed PBUH and Hazrat Ali R.A"
Jab tum kisi ko dost banao to apne dil mein
aik qabristan bana lo jahan tum uski buraiiyan
aur raaz dafna sako
Prophet Muhammad PBUH ---
Acha dost kitni dafa hi kyun na ruth jaye
ussey mana lena chahiyeh kyun ke
tasbeeh ke daney kitni dafa hi kyun na bikher jayein
chun liye jatey hein
Hazrat Ali (R.A)---
Jab aankhein nafs ki pasandeeda cheezein dekhnein lagein
to dil anjaam say andha ho jata hai
Hazrat Ali (R.A)---
Ikhtiyar, taqat aur daulat milne par log badaltey nahin
balkey be-naqaab ho jatey hein
Hazrat Ali (R.A)---
Din ki roshni mein rizq talash karo aur
Raat ki tareeqi mein usse talash karo
jo tumhein rizq deta hai
Hazrat Ali (R.A)---
Kisi ko tum chaho aur woh tumhein thukra day,
Yeh uski badnaseebi hai. Koi tumhein na chahey
aur tum usse zaberdasti apna banana chaho,
ye tumhare nafs ki zillat hai
Hazrat Ali (R.A)---
Insaan dukh nahin deta, insaanoun say
wabasta umeedein dukh deti hein
Hazrat Ali (R.A)---
Agar kisi ka banna chahtey ho to poori haqeeqat say ban jao
warna apni zaat mein aisi haqeeqat paida kar lo ke
koi haqeeqat mein tumhara ban jaye
Hazrat Ali (R.A)---
Sadqa (charity) jab apne malik ke hath se nikalta hai to
Uss waqt 5 jumley kehta hai
1. Main faani maal tha tu nay mujhe baqa di
2. Main tera dushman tha ab tu nay mujhe apna dost bana liya
3. Aaj say pehlay tu meri hifazat karta tha
ab mein teri hifazat karoun ga
4. Main haqeet tha tu nay mujhe azeem bana diya
5. Pehlay mein tere hath mein tha ab mein khuda ke haath mein hun
Prophet Muhammad PBUH---
Logoun ki zarooraton ka tum say wabasta hona
tum par Allah ki inayat hai
Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A)---
Jab gunahon ke bawajood Rab-ul-Izzat ki naimatein
musalsal tumhein milti rahein to hoshiyar ho jana
ke tumhara hisaab qareeb aur sakht tareen hai
Hazrat Ali (R.A)---
Mujhe jannat say zyada masjid mein bethna acha lagta hai
kyun ke jannat mein mera nafs khush hoga,
jab ke masjid mein mera rabb khush hoga
Hazrat Ali (R.A)---
Momin woh nahin jis ki mehfil paak ho,
Momin woh hai jis ki tanhaii paak ho
Hazrat Ali (R.A)---
Barish ka qatra seep aur saanp dono ke munh mein girta hai..
seep ussey moti bana deta hai,
saanp ussey zehr bana deta hai..
jiska jaisa zarf waisi uski takhleeq
Hazrat Ali (R.A)---
One thing that is better not expressed
even if it is true, is a man's praise for himself
Hazrat Ali (R.A)---
3 kaam kisi ke dil mein aapki izzat barhatey hein
1. Salaam karna
2. Kisi ko jagah dena
3. Asal naam se pukarna
Hazrat Ali (R.A)---
Koshish karo ke tum dunya mein raho
dunya tum mein na rahey kyun ke
kashti jab tak paani mein rehti hai khoob terti hai
lekin jab paani kashti mein ajaye to woh doob jati hai
Hazrat Ali (R.A)---
Apni zubaan ki taizi uss maa par mat aazmao
jis ne tumhein bolna sikhaya
Hazrat Ali (R.A)---
Mere Allah, meri izzat ke liye yehi kafi hai
ke mein tera banda hun aur mere fakhar ke liye
yehi kafi hai ke tu mera parwardigar hai..
tu waisa he hai jaisa mein chahta hun..
bas tu mujh ko waisa bana day jaisa tu chahta hai
Hazrat Ali (R.A)---

A friend cannot be considered a friend
unless he is tested on three occasions
1. At the time of need
2. Behind your back
3. After your death

aur kam zarf hua to khud ko aala samjhe ga

- O He who is sufficent from all things But nothing is sufficient from Him
- Be sufficient for me in what worries me in the state I am.
- 3. When thanking Allah for creating us and dignifying us (over other creatures)
- AlHamdu lillaahil-ladhee khlaqanaa min noorihee biyadih
- waSTafaanaa mim bariyyatih
- waja`lanaa umnaa-ahu `alaa khalqihee wa-waHyih
- Praise be to Allah who created us from His Light with His hand
- And digified us over His creatures
- And made us trustees of His creation and His revelation.
- Four Simple Effective Quranic Duas- Imam Jafar Sadiq(as)
- Imam Jafar e Sadiq (as) had expressed surprise ,that why when in need Momins DO NOT use the 4 SIMPLE EFFECTIVE DUAS AVAILABLE TO THEM .
- These are quranic ayats ,immediately(fa) after these ayats follows that ayat which is the solution for the problem so we recite only the previous part of the ayat.(ie the transliterated part)
- 1. To overcome fear of Authority/ruler
- ”Wa Ufawwizu Amree ilallaah inallaaha baseerun bil ibad” (Ch. Al-Ghafir, or Mu’min (40), vs. 44)
- So you shall remember what I say to you, and I entrust my affair to Allah, Surely Allah sees the servants.
- 2. For Rizq (sustenance)
- ”Mashaallahu laa Quwwata illa billah" (Ch. Al-Kahf (18), vs. 39)
- And wherefore did you not say when you entered your garden: It is as Allah has pleased, there is no power save in Allah? If you consider me to be inferior to you in wealth and children
- 3. For Sorrows/sufferings
- La ila ha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minazzalimeen(Ch. Al-Anbiya (21): vs. 87)
- And Yunus, when he went away in wrath, so he thought that We would not straiten him, so he called out among afflictions: There is no god but Thou, glory be to Thee; surely I am of those who make themselves to suffer loss.
- 4. Other issues/Needs
- Hasbunallah wa ni'mal wakeel(Ch. Aale I’mraan (3), vs. 173)
- Those to whom the people said: Surely men have gathered against you, therefore fear them, but this increased their faith, and they said: Allah is sufficient for us and most excellent is the Protector.
- There are some preconditions for it to be accepted ,eg:a person is to be married before he can pray & wish for a child.:-
- a. Taqwa -Fear of Allah swt
- b. Efforts & Perseverance.Efforts like that of Sarah between safa & Marwah & Patience in not giving up &continuing upto 7 rounds
- c. Conviction that it can work & not an attitude of 'what can one line do'
- This will inshallah result in rewards beyond imagination ,like zam zam though what was asked was only a cupful!

- He said that once `Ali b. al-Husayn (a) saw a person doing tawaaf of al-Ka`bah and saying:

- The Imam striked his shoulder and said: you have asked for affliction (balaa'),
- [Instead] say: Allaahumma innee as-alukal-`aafiyah, wash-shukra `alal-`aafiyah.
- O Allah I ask from You the well-being, and to be grateful for the well-being.

- I seek protection for my soul in the Lord of the earth and the Lord of the heavens
- I seek protection for my soul in the One in whose name no sickness can hurt
- I seek protection for my soul in the One whose name is Blessed and a Cure.
- For Rizq (Sufficient Sustenance)
- Once the Prophet's (saw) daughter Fatima Zehra (as) asked the prophet for a helper. The Prophet(saw) advised her to recite the following Tasbih which is now known as Tasbih e Zehra. This Tasbih is usually recited after each prayer.
- However it also has great value for solving the problems of Rizq, Sustenance, Business, Job etc. The person should recite the tasbih with the niyat (intention) of seeking rizq (sustenance), before leaving the house ( sitting in the car for going to work) ,before commencing business or before starting work at office.
- 34 times Allah o Akbar, 33 times Alhumdolillah & 33 times Subhanallah
- Inshallah rizq problems can be overcome with this.
- Salwaat on Sayeda Fatema Zahra (s.a.)
- Recite 580 times following for any problem.
- Oh Allah send blessings on Fatima and her father, her husband and her sons, and by the secret installed in her (S)) which only is in YOUR knowledge
- Allahumma Salle al Fatima wa abeeha wa baleha wa baneeha wa sirril mustaudaeh fiha beadada maa ahaata behi ilmu
- A young man was on his deathbed when the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h.&h.f.) came, sat near him, and told him to recite two kalimas (Shahadatain). But the youth could not speak. The Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h.&h.f.) enquired if his mother was present? A woman sitting near his head said, “Yes, I am his mother.”
- The Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h.&h.f.) asked, “ Are your displeased with him ?”
- ‘Yes, O Prophet (p.b.u.h.&h.f.), we have not spoken to each other since the last six years.’
- The Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h.&h.f.) asked this woman to forgive her son. Thus at the Prophet’s instance she forgave his mistakes and was reconciled. At once the young man was able to recite the Kalima al-Shahadat.
- The Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h.&h.f.) asked him, “What do you see, at this moment .” “ O Prophet of Allah a dark and smelly man has got hold of me and is not leaving me.
- ”The Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h.&h.f.) told him to recite the following Du’a, يامن يقبل اليسير ويعفوعن الكثير اقبل مني اليسيرواعف عني الكثيرانك انت الغفور الرحيم
- Ya man Yaqbalul yasīra wa y’afo ‘Anil Kathīra Iqbal minnil Yasīra Wa ‘Āfo ‘Annil Kathīr
- Sura Yasin Dua for concealing something from opponent
- At the time of Hijrat ,the prophet recited the following ayats from Sura Yasin (36),so that the enemies COULD NOT SEE even when he escaped in fron of their eyes from Mecca
- V 8...Inna Ja'alna fe A' Na ke him Agh la lan fa heya ila al azkaan fa hum mukmahun
- Verily we have put on their necks iron collars reaching upto their chins so that their heads are raised up.
- V 9... Wa ja alna mim bayne Aide him saddawn min khal fe him saddan fa agshaina hum fa hum la yubseroon
- And we have put a barrier before them & a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up,so that they cannot see
- He has hidden His Answering (your supplications) in Your prayers to Him so then do not consider any part of your prayers to Him as being insignificant as it is possible that within that prayer lies His Answering while you are not aware."
- How many times we have called upon Allah (SWT), waiting patiently for an answer? We sit down to recite the extended supplications such as those in Sahifatul Sajjadiyah and the other beautiful pleas contained in Mafaatihul Jinaan thinking that the longer the prayer, the better chance that Allah (SWT) will accept it. We fail to realize that even one short dua of a few lines has as much a chance of being accepted by Allah as the 'longer' duas. The key to acceptance of a dua of any length is to ensure that we have maintained the prerequisites of supplication mentioned in the Quran and Prophetic words of wisdom, and to pray with a pure intention. If the prayer is fulfilled by Allah (SWT), we should realize that that is what was best for us in this life and the next; if it is deferred to the next world, then we need to accept that what we wanted may have been detrimental for our life in this world and more importantly, our status in the next life. We must accept that after all, Allah (SWT) knows best.
